In 2004, Xavier Veilhan exhibits at the Centre Pompidou. Centrepiece of the exhibition: “Le
Grand Mobile”, a monumental installation brought to life by Pierre de Poucques and Yves
Malka. A Herculean task...
The mobile is in 4 parts, each one made up of 25 inflated spheres suspended on steel
tubes. A combination of beauty, fluidity and power : total weight 706kg.
Le Grand Mobile has also been presented in Valencia, at l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris for Nuit
Blanche 2006, in Toronto...
