“The Skater” is a monumental work
of Xavier Veilhan ordered especially
by Amore Pacific Museum,
for an installation close to Seoul
in South Korea.
More than 2 years studies and have
been necessary to complete this
sculpture with multiple technical
and logistic challenges.
This project was the subject of a
continued collaboration with Korean
experts in order to take into account
the specific local constraints,
in particular the wind and seismicity.
For this monumental part, we created
an exclusive Internet site in order to
offer to the final client the possibility
of following, week after week, the

Many competences and technologies
were necessary to the design and
the manufacture of this sculpture
of 6M top (frames included)
for 12M length made up of 35 layers
